First Baptist Church Alma is a gospel-centered church where we believe Christianity is better than a list of rules, and more than believing the right things. The Christian life is a life changed by Jesus, experienced in community, and lived out for the glory of God and the good of our neighbors. We would love for you to be apart of our church.

PLANNING YOUR VISIT

How do I find First Alma?

Join us at Sunday mornings at either 8:30am or 10:00am. First Baptist is easily located at 211 North Mountain Grove Road in Alma. There are two entrances to our church. Guest Parking is located at both parking lots. We are on the corner of 64 HWY and North Mountain Grove Road. We are the church on the hill.

WHERE DO I GO WHEN I GET THERE?

Once you make your way onto our campus, look for the Welcome team that will direct you to our Children's Ministry and Worship Center.

WHAT IS THERE FOR ME?

Sunday services at First Alma are inspiring, casual and relaxed. Come as you are, and you can expect to feel welcomed, experience a time of worship through song and scripture, and a message from the Bible that will encourage and challenge your life. Our services usually last about an hour and fifteen minutes.

WHAT DO I WEAR?

You can wear whatever you feel comfortable in. The people that gather at First Alma on each Sunday wear anything from suits and dresses to jeans and t-shirts. We care more about who you are than what you wear.

CHILDREN'S CHURCH

Do you have anything for my children?

At First Alma, we are committed to providing a kid's ministry that is uniquely designed with your child in mind! Kids experience safe, age-appropriate environments where the Bible is taught in a creative and relevant way. When you arrive, you will be greeted by one of our trained Kids Ministry Leaders that will help check in your child.

During check-in, your child will receive a name tag that includes parent contact information and allergy information, if applicable. As a parent you will receive a matching security tag that identifies your child to you; you will need this tag to pick up your child. Your first week, our Kid's Ministry Volunteer will guide you to your child’s age appropriate room and introduce you to your child’s teacher. If you have additional questions, please contact our Family Minister, Josh Lewallen jlewallen@firstalma.com

WHO IS TAKING CARE OF MY CHILD?

During the worship service, preschool rooms have two volunteers and children rooms have a minimum of two volunteers. Detailed background checks are done on all Children Ministry volunteers and they each receive training on policies and procedures.
